Job description

Easy website research from home, United States only. A paid 20-row pilot first, then paid per row.

We need one person living in the United States to help with simple ad research. No experience needed.

WHY

We are an advertising company. We want to see which ads people in the US see on websites. You are not clicking ads for money and not buying anything. You only look and write down what opened.

WHAT YOU DO

1. Before each session, clear your Chrome cookies (we show you how) and take a screenshot of iplocation.io showing your city and internet provider.

2. Open a website from our list in Google Chrome on your computer, in a normal window (not Incognito).

3. Click on the page. A new ad window opens.

4. In that new ad tab, copy the ad’s web address and its redirect list (the free Chrome add-on Redirect Path shows it, we explain how).

5. Take a screenshot with the free tool Lightshot.

6. Paste everything into one row of our Google Sheet, with the time the ad opened.

That is one row. It takes about 1 minute once you are set up.

PAY

We start with a 20-row pilot, paid as one hour at your rate: about half an hour to set up (Chrome profile, Redirect Path, Lightshot) and half an hour for the rows. If it goes well, we continue per accepted row at your hourly rate divided by 40.

THE PILOT IS DONE WHEN

– 20 rows are logged in your Google Sheet from the first site in your Sites tab, in desktop Chrome (normal window).

– Each session starts with an iplocation.io screenshot showing a US city and your home internet provider (no VPN, proxy or data center).

– Each row has the time the ad opened, the ad URL, the final URL, the redirect chain copied from Redirect Path in the ad’s own tab, and a screenshot.

– Every row matches its screenshot, and no ad is reopened from the sheet.

YOU NEED

– To live in the United States

– Your normal home internet. No VPN or proxy, and we check every session.

– A Windows or Mac computer with Google Chrome

– To be 18 or older

GOOD TO KNOW

Some ads are for casinos, betting or dating. Never sign up, pay, fill in forms or download anything. If a site asks to send notifications, click Block.

Every row is checked against its screenshot. Copied or made-up rows are not paid.
