Build Highly Scalable Backend Systems in a Finance Technology Environment
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with at least 7 years of strong professional experience to join a technology team working on highly scalable backend systems.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can work onsite, contribute to complex architecture decisions, and help guide the broader engineering team in implementing scalable and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Work onsite 4–5 days per week as required by the project.
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
– Analyze complex technical requirements and contribute to architectural decisions.
– Design and implement solutions capable of supporting high scalability and demanding workloads.
– Collaborate with project stakeholders and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
– Guide developers on scalable implementation strategies and technical best practices.
– Help ensure backend solutions are reliable, maintainable, and production-ready.
– Contribute to development, deployment, CI/CD, and cloud-based engineering processes.
– Troubleshoot technical challenges and identify opportunities to improve system performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications
– 7+ years of genuine professional software development experience.
– Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
– Solid understanding of backend architecture and scalable system design.
– Practical experience with AWS environments.
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development automation.
– Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
– Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
– Professional experience in the Finance Technology (FinTech) domain is mandatory.
