What you’ll be doing:

• Enter data: Type in lots of data into the company’s own software, with at least 99.9% accuracy
• Check data: Compare new data with the original papers, flag mismatches, and work with others to fix them
• Organize data: Sort and store data so it’s easy to find later for analysis, reports, and rules
• Quality checks: Run regular checks to keep data accurate
• Reports: Make daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data patterns, odd data, and important numbers
• Teamwork: Talk with data stewards, product managers, and IT support to get what’s needed and share updates
• Improve things: Spot where work slows down and suggest fixes
• Follow the rules: Stick to the company’s privacy rules and keep information private

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (an associate degree is preferred)
• 1–2 years of data entry or office experience
• Good skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and some knowledge of data tools
• Very careful, and committed to getting data right
• Good writing and speaking skills
• Able to work on your own, use your time well, and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable working from home, with steady internet and a space just for work

Nice to have:

• Experience with data checking software or automated data entry tools
• Basic SQL (searching databases)
• Past work with online shopping or tech data
• Certificates in data management or quality checking
• Other languages, like Spanish, French, or Mandarin
