A leading DeFi company is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join its fully remote engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend development experience, strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, and familiarity with cloud services such as AWS. About the Role
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power decentralized finance products. You’ll also contribute to smart contract development and work with blockchain technologies to support application functionality and integrations.
You’ll collaborate with engineers and other team members in an Agile environment, solving complex technical problems and helping build reliable systems for a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain backend services for DeFi applications.

Required Qualifications
– 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
– Strong programming and backend engineering skills.
– Experience working with blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
– Familiarity with smart contracts and blockchain development concepts.
– Experience with AWS cloud services.
– Strong understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and distributed systems.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a remote and Agile development environment.
