About the Role
PETADATA is seeking an experienced UI Developer with 8+ years of professional experience to build and enhance dynamic, high-performance web applications using Angular and Java.
The ideal candidate will have strong frontend development skills along with hands-on experience integrating Angular applications with Java and Spring Boot backends. You’ll work closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to create responsive, scalable, and user-friendly applications in an Agile environment.
This position is well suited for a senior developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving application performance, and building reusable frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and enhance enterprise web applications using Angular 8+ and Java/Spring Boot.
– Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
– Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and other technical teams.
– Develop reusable and scalable UI components.
– Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and Java-based backend services.
– Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
– Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
– Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
– Troubleshoot application issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
– Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
– Stay current with modern frontend technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
– 8+ years of professional experience in web application development.
– Strong hands-on experience with Angular 8 or later.
– Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJS.
– Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
– Experience integrating applications with RESTful services and JSON-based APIs.
– Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
– Experience with Git, version control, and branching strategies.
– Experience writing unit tests using tools such as Jasmine and Karma.
– Familiarity with Angular CLI and Maven.
– Understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
– Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
– Experience with NgRx or other state management libraries.
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
– Experience with containerized deployments such as Docker.
– Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
– Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Education
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
